In the first of what I trust will become a regular feature on this blog: Shoes!

(Description: Flat shoes, with intricate gold designs on toe)

Mr Bee found them for me, through a link on Jonathon Jones’ Art blog at the Guardian. The shoes are from Egypt, and they seem to date to somewhere between 400 and 600 AD. They are presently stored in the Victoria and Albert Museum.

    so a about a size 40-41, not very small really… I just got new boots today, yay for new footwear, pink tarten doc boots, am so in love 🙂
